The article offers a new critical perspective on the poems written by Rilke in Capri. Starting with a comparison with Kant's theory on the Sublime, which the poet read, the article shows how the confrontation with the sublime landscape of the island led Rilke to go further in his rethorical search of the void as the unique background of poetical revelation
